- Profile Information: Your profile picture, primary sport preference (e.g., Badminton, Pickleball), self-reported skill level, and custom profile titles.
- User-Generated Content: Chat messages, images shared in chat, venue reviews, match logs, and tournament registrations.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Location Data: With your explicit permission, we collect precise geolocation data (latitude and longitude) to show you nearby matches, trending venues, and local trainers. We also use this to calculate distances for matchmaking.
- Device and Usage Data: Information about how you access the Service, including your device type, operating system, unique device identifiers (like FCM push notification tokens), and app activity (e.g., time of visit, pages viewed).
C. Health and Fitness Data
- Activity Metrics: If you pair Deuce with a smartwatch (such as an Apple Watch), we may collect fitness metrics associated with your matches, specifically Calories Burned and Average Heart Rate (BPM). This data is strictly used to display your personal match statistics and is not shared with third-party advertisers.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data for various internal and operational purposes:
- To Provide the Service: To create your account, manage your profile, and facilitate match scheduling and tournament brackets.
- Matchmaking & Leaderboards: To calculate your Deuce Rating (DBR/DPR), track your win/loss streaks, and place you on local or global leaderboards.
- Communication: To enable user-to-user chat functionality and to send you push notifications regarding match invites, friend requests, and tournament updates.
- To Improve the App: To analyze usage patterns, troubleshoot bugs, and develop new features.
- Location Services: To utilize Google Maps/Places APIs to help you find and tag specific courts and venues.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information in the following circumstances:
- With Other Users: When you interact with the app, other users can see your public profile (name, avatar, level, rating, win rate). Depending on your "Profile Insights Privacy" settings, friends or all users may also see your detailed shot distribution (smashes, drops, serves) and match history.
- In Match Lobbies: If you join a match or tournament, your profile will be visible to the admin and other participants.
- With Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our app (e.g., cloud hosting providers, Google Maps API for location tagging, and push notification services like Expo/Firebase).
- For Legal Requirements: We may disclose your data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

The security of your data is important to us. We use commercially acceptable means, including secure authentication and encrypted database connections, to protect your Personal Data. - Privacy Controls: You can restrict who sees your detailed statistics by adjusting your "Profile Insights Privacy" to Everyone, Friends, or No One.
- Location Permissions: You can revoke the app's access to your GPS location at any time through your device's operating system settings.

7. Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.
